Getting There

Depending on time of day, it is 2-3 hours by taxi to Hua Hin from Bangkok airport (cost approx. £40/$60).

If you want to take the bus, you'll need to travel into Bangkok town (approx. 40 minutes away) and go to the bus depot. The drive takes around 5 hours and is sweatier but cheaper. For quotes and transport alternatives/ special requirements, get in touch with us and we'll suggest the best route.

If you'd like us to organize transport for you, give us the details of numbers in your travel group and which flight(s) you will be arriving on and we'll get someone with an appropriately sized vehicle to meet you at the airport.

Possible Trips Around Hua Hin

Hua Hin Hills Vineyard, about 45 minutes away from where we will be based, is a beautiful sprawling vineyard, offering delicious wine and canape taster menus and the opportunity to see elephants working the fields!

Safari and Adventure Park, a short drive from Khao Takiab is a must-see if you want to have your photo taken with a snake, see an elephant riding a bicycle and painting a picture(!) or, best of all, a man putting his head in a crocodile's mouth. What's not to like?

There are a number of potential trips further afield to a volcano or fishing boat trips around the bay.

There are also plenty of things to do when you get here, from the Night Street Market to having an authentic Thai massage (from beach-side to high-end spa), riding a scooter around the area or climbing monkey mountain (warning: for monkey enthusiasts only!).

For children, there are beach activities such as horse riding and banana boating.
